HELLO AND WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!
My love for the breed started years ago with a little red/white female named Freckles and a buff boy named Jake. Their LOVE AND LOYALITY for us was never ending and in return all they asked for was spot in our hearts and that they received.
Freckles and Jake have since passed on, but they left me with an undying LOVE for the breed. I knew I had to have another Cocker Spaniel to LOVE and since I LOVED the breed so much I decieded to get a show puppy so I could learn and promote this wonderful little sporting dog.
My first attempt at getting a show puppy ended in disaster as at the young age of six months my beautiful silver boy was diagnosed with Hip Displasia and Luxating Patellas. I was crushed but this woke me up to all the health issues we have with the breed and what we as responsible breeders can do to help prevent this in our lines.
Our dogs are OFA'd at the age of 2 and CERF'd yearly. There are alot of GOOD breeders out there so ask before you buy, dont go through what I have not only for your sake but mostly for your beloved pet. Star will always be with me but because of his health issues his life will not be a long and pain free one. Star takes Meticam for his pain daily and joint suppliments but he is the LOVE OF MY LIFE and the puppy sitter when we have a litter.
I want to say a special thanks to all my show friends because without their guidence I would be lost. They have taken the time to teach me the show world of the Cocker Spaniel and guide me in showing and breeding a healthy dog.
Thank you Frances, Marilyn, Sharon,Donna, Nancy and Deann . All wonderful people and GREAT BREEDERS and represenitives of our breed.
